Founded in 2023, Keener and Company is a Black woman-founded, owned, and operated social impact communications agency based in Detroit, Michigan, serving clients nationwide.

Meet the team

Lindsay Keener

Founder & Communications Strategist

Lindsay is a communications strategist from Detroit, Michigan, specializing in consumer communications across technology, food and beverage, and sports and entertainment — with a passion for impact-driven storytelling.

Throughout her career, Lindsay has secured high-impact media placements for clients including Spotify and Bose in top-tier outlets such as Billboard, Entertainment Weekly, HOT 97, and Pop Crave. Her experience also spans local journalism, marketing technology, and youth engagement, giving her a well-rounded perspective on strategic communications across industries.

Lindsay earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Hampton University, a historically Black university in Hampton, Virginia. Her background spans journalism, marketing, and brand storytelling, bringing a well-rounded perspective to every client partnership.

When she's not servicing clients, Lindsay enjoys hot Pilates, exploring new cities, and trying new restaurants.
